    1 instance of excel

    hi all,
    i do not know if i have accidentally clicked any button. if i open more than 1 excel, they are in the same workbook. i cannot do comparison on screen.
    may i know what should i do so that i can see them physically in different workbook on screen.

    Hi,

    try un-maximize the window -

    or

    perhaps what you mean is in Tools, Options, General, Ignore Other Applications.

    however, I would not recommend leaving this ticked, it does have other uses.
