    Stopping Disable/Enable Macro Message

    Hi everyone

I'm sure this is really simple - but does anyone know how to get rid of the Disable/Enable message which appears when you are opeining a spreadsheet file, and you have already deleted all the macros.

Have tried the digital signatures route but that doesn't seem to fix it. It is not a great problem, but we are sending the spreadsheets out for others to use, and we keep getting queries about the (non-existent) macros (lots of unwanted hassle!).

    Hope someone can help.

    Cheers Jenno

Isn't this a setting within the Excel program re Macro security, rather than the spreadsheet file itself?

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.

Thanks - I tried setting security to low and the message disappeared when I reopened workbook. Then when I changed setting back message reappeared. How come I don't get this message on new workbooks without macros, and yet it keeps coming up when macros have been deleted?? Are you able to help on this, or am I just stuck with this message.

    Cheers
    Jenno
