Macro? - inserting a cell value for target sheet data entry

I have created a worksheet incorporating two drop-down lists with additional blank cells for data entry. I attempted to assign a macro to a button to enter this into another worksheet. I don't know how to reference the drop-down list result value as the target sheet in the macro. In addition is there a way to open or jump to another sheet via a button without having to use the sheet tab?
