Stacked AND side by side column graph...

I've seen it done before, but can't quite seem to replicate it...

    I have 3 periods of data - 2003, 2004 & 2005.

within that data I have 2 data types - structured/flow

    and I have bands within that - £1million, £2million, £3million, etc....

I want to create a set of columns for each band, where each column represents a period and each colum is split in two for the data type.

I can get stacked columns for one data period, but can't seem to add in the additional stacked columns for additional data periods - they just appear as addional 'stacks'

Anyone know how this is done??

    THANKS A LOT.

Thats kinda cool, but not what I am trying to do...

Imagine I had a normal stacked bar chart with my 4 bands along the bottom and a stacked bar on each band. EXCEPT, for each band I want 3 stacked bars next to each other (like a normal bar chart).

The link you sent shows what would appear to be 4 charts above each vertically arranged, but fed from one set of data... mine would look like one 'combined' stack/column chart.

EDIT - I think his clustered-stacked column may work...
