    How about

Tools > options > view tab and make sure formulas is unticked.

or see if you have a leading space before your formulas

or if you have a ' in front of formulas

I just started a new workbook..... it works now! However I was wondering how do you change the width of an individual cell without changing the width of the entire row?????

OMG! For some reason it says the attachment failed.......I am getting to the point where I just want to take this computer in an empty field and beat it to pieces like in Office Space (the movie)......but I know it is the operator not the machine which causes it to act retarded....
