    Increment # on print

Been pulling my hair out to find a solution to this:

I have a simple form that I would like a number to be incremented each time I print the form without having to manually change the number at a time as I have about 100 to print at a time. Ideally I would like to click print, select 100 copies, then have that number on the sheet go from 400 to 500 with each copy. Any ideas out there?

    See attached sheet.

    Thanks!!!!

    Hi

I'm not sure to understand but it seems that you want to write in D3, don't you?

    So, i created this macro

So, with this macro, you'll have 100 in D3 on the first sheet, 99 on the second sheet, .......1 on the hundredth sheet. In other words, you create one hundred sheets. At least, you can print your book.

Thanks, The cell I need to work with is K9, and the macro did not duplicate the sheet, it just created 100 with a number on it.

    Thanks for your help.

The following macro duplicates your sheet:

The cell K9 is incremented. You can print your workbook after. The first copy will be named Sheets1 (2), the second Sheets1 (3),...and the last sheet will be named Sheets1 (n).

Can I start the number at something other than 1? I tried changing z to be 422 TO 432 but I got 10 sheets with 422 and one with 432.

    Thanks.

What's your excel version and how do you do? You have just to paste the macro.I tried again and it works.
