tabbing to data entry fields by default?

Does anyone know if it is possible to set a worksheet to allow its user to only be able to tab in chronological order in the specified data fields that are necessary? I appreciate the help! (I'm a newbie to excel, but I like what it can do) Thanks in advance!

you can protect the worksheet. There are a few steps involved.

    1. Highlight the cells that you want users to be able to enter into. Right click, go to format cells, the last tab is "protection", click on that, then un-tick the "Locked" option.

    2. Go to Tools>Protection>Protect Sheet. A box will pop up. Make sure that ONLY "Select Unlocked Cells" is checked. At this point u can add a password, but you dont have to.

Let me know if it works.
