    Pasting Formatted Text

    Hello,

I'm trying to paste text from Word into Excel. My text has line breaks and formatting, i.e. some is bold, and some is italic. I want it all to be in once cell. I know Excel supports this, as I can do it by hand, but I can't find a way to paste it in.

    Does anybody have any advice?

    Cheers!

    Hi,

    unfortunately you cannot

The text format that you do 'by hand' is, like all formatting, a cell property and not a property of the text within the cell. You cannot 'by hand' the result of any formula.
