    Rollup in excel?

Hello. I am trying to achieve something that may only be available via 3rd party addons but I have seen this before and have always wanted to incorporate.

    Example
Rows 1 - 10 have data and then Id click a collapse/expand icon on the left and roll them up into a single line, row 1. The next row would be 11. It doesnt have to sum them, although that would be an added bonus, but simply to view or hide unwanted data.

    Any ideas? Thanks

    Good afternoon RoachForLife

    ...and welcome to the forum!

If you want to have a summary line, you're going to have to prepare it manually, but to collapse several rows, select the rows and go to Data > Group and Outline > Group.
