    Hi Everybody,

I want to know that how can i convert my date format,

Eg: I have mentioned date as 12/6/2006 consedering it as format of DD/MM/YY but the format was MM/DD/YY, So my further calculations will go wrong, How can i change it so that date 12/6/2006 whose format is mmddyy to ddmmyy and get the date as 12/6/2006 whose format will be ddmmyy.

If you want to convert existing dates on your current sheet only, then select the range (it must be a single-columnar range, or one-cell at a time) and go to Data|Text to Columns and skip to the 3rd dialogue. Select DMY from the date option in the column data format area. This should convert the dates.

If you want a permanent change for future, you need to change date setting in your computer's control panel regional settings.
Where there is a will there are many ways.
