It would surely depened upon your location.

Generally I would expect that Lotus Notes would be a skill less likely to be known by others, and, I would think, less likely to be learned by it's users.

Excel is a tool which, like MS Word, can be used with an ever-increasing skill level, and is more likely to be learned to some level by a majority of it's users.
