How to delete a fixed term from a formula automatically ?

I think I misled you with my question. Here goes again:

How to delete a fixed term from a formula automatically ?

    For example: delete 38 from

    =38*SIN(B3-C3)

the SIN(B3-C3) is variable, so I would like to keep that part. The cell would look like:

    =SIN(B3-C3)

FIND finds 38, but REPLACE replaces all the cell contents !!

Thanks again for your help !!!!!!!!1

are you trying to delete the same number in different cells?
( * is a wildcard, thus provoking your problem)
