Value errors

Input sheet drives a sheet which manupliates formulas to product amortization schedule and does other manipulations. When someone deletes a lot of the input items, the output sheet give Value errors, and these errors don't go away with new input? The input/output sheets are protected. The cell calculations are interated up to 100 times to get around circular agrument problems.
