    Highlighting Active Cell

About a month ago one of the tips sent out was how to highlight the active cell in one color and its row and column in a lighter shade of that color. I thought I saved the tip but apparently did not. Now I have hunted all over the site but I do not seem to be searching for the right terms to find the tip. Could someone send me the link for this tip?

    Thanks!

    Chris

Please always attach the sample workbook without sensitive information when asking for help

    To add a module
Press Alt + F11 (this is the Visual Basic Environment)
    Insert Menu, select Module
    Past code there
    Close Visual Basic Environment (X)

Thanks for the reply. This is the first chance I've had to return to this idea.

I'm relatively new to working with VBA in Excel. I can successfully edit exisiting macros pretty well, but apparently it's not as intuitive to paste and run new modules as I thought. I pasted your script into a new module without problem. Unforuntately I can't make it run. Clicking run in the VBE does not work nor does it appear in my macro list. However, if I close and reopen the file it recognize it enough to give me the macro security box.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks!
