    Duplicates and summing totals

    I have 4 columns. One column is for a store name, one for orders booked, one for orders cancelled, one for orders shipped. In the name column there are duplicate store names as I go down the rows, but the other columns have different values. This is okay. What I need to know is how to have Excel sum the totals in each of the three columns when there is a duplicate store name. I hope that makes sense. Please let me know!! I have posted an attachment in txt format so you can have an idea of what I am talking about... maybe, haha. Please help.

    do you know the storenames and want to do a report? or consolidate your data and merge the 3 lines together, perhaps you could provide a little more information

    look at either sumif as a formula or a pivot table

    Hi - I'd recommend using the PIVOT function in Excel for collapsing duplicate data into summary forms. This link might help if you've not used this in the past:
