    color temperature plot

I am trying to graph the average temperatures from jan to dec for a few years. I was hoping to use some sort of color varying plot that had a predefined color range scale ( blue = cold to red = hot) to truly show the color spectrum as it varied by temperature, but couldn't figure out how to do this in excel. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

    Hi,

perhaps a look at http://www.andypope.info/charts/spectrum.htm might show that it's not simple, but is possible.
