Auto fill of date (day of week)

I am trying to set up a spread sheet of driver hours worked. I need to be able to have the user enter a date for instance, 8/06/07 and the next 4 cells in the row automatically fill in with 8/07/07, 8/08/07, 8/09/07 etc. until it reaches the end of the week, in this case Friday. I know how to enter the date and "drag" it so that each adjoining cell is fill with the sequence of dates but that doesn't help me. Any suggestions?

=a1+1 didn't work. I entered it but when I enter today's date it none of the other 4 cells on the row show their date. I'm relatively new to excel so what am I doing wrong?

Not to play the role of Obvious Man, but are you typing the current date into cell A1? If not, =a1+1, =a1+2, etc. won't give you any results.

If your date cell is something other than A1, change that in the formula. For example, if you're typing the date into C18, the formulas for the next 4 days should be
    =C18+1
    =C18+2
    =C18+3
    =C18+4
