SUMPRODUCT of month AND text

Hi All

I have the following two columns and in third column want the SUMPRODUCT of AUH AND Mar and result should be 3.

ColumnA ColumnB ColumnC
1-Mar-07 AUH
2-Mar-o7 AUH
15-Mar-07 DXB
31-Mar-07 AUH
2-Apr-07 DXB
