how to make the TAB key move to a new row?

    hello,
I have a spreadsheet with data in the array of C9 to G23. I would like for the Tab key to move the curser to the next row, preferably column C after being in column G. I would guess that if there was a way to limit the number of columns in my spreadsheet that the Tab would then move the curser to the new row. I would still like to get to column C but column A would be better than nothing. In my infinite ignorance I haven't been able to figure out how to limit the number of columns in my spread sheet.
    Thanks.
    DK

    Hi,
You could select the cells you want to allow to be edited, then goto format, cells, protection, and uncheck locked, then protect the worksheet then ok, from there when you hit the tab key, you will be taken to the next unlocked cell

    Dave,
You're the best. You're suggestion worked like a charm. This was my 1st exp. with this forum and you made it a good one.
    Thanks
