    Question Splitting dates into quarters

    Hi,

I have created a spreadsheet which gathers customer feedback questionnaires. I have received a request to produce the data quarterly.

What I would like to do, but can't do so asking you is that I would like the first page to have a years worth of feedback, then i would like to set up another 4 sheets where I create a formula that basically say:

If the date is between 1Jan-30Mar it goes into the sheet named Q1, then if it is between 1Apr-30June and so on. So I am therefore left with 5 calculation sheets and the additional sheets presenting the date in form of graphs.

So my question is, do you know what formula to put in to ask for a date range rather than a number range.

    Thanks

This can be done, but I fear it is a bit complicated. Do you have a .zip sample of your workbook to help simplify things?

    Hi,

See attached file for a possible solution.

Using the formula (in the first quarter) ...

...you only pull through information from the first quarter. Everything else is displayed as a blank. Then using Autofilter to show just NonBlanks, you get only the entries from that quarter.
