Cell format (decimals)

I need to change the decimal format depending on the cell value.....Is it possible...?

I´m doing a chart (histogram) that changes depending on the variable I want to check. Then the X axis values change from variable to variable, sometimes it needs to show values with 2 or 3 decimal, sometimes just the entire number with no decimals.
