Making money with Excel?

There are quite a few people who make money out of Excel consultancy, some as a side line, some make it a full time job. Most of these guys run web sites to show case their skills, and they all post to sites like this, not asking questions, but answering them on a whole range of Excel subjects, about pivot tables, macros, formula queries, graphs, ranges, userforms ... Excel is a massive piece of stoftware and these guys are very good. For you to cut it as a private consultant in direct competition with these guys you have to be far far better than intermediate.

In short, if you can look at a forum like this and answer most questions you come across, you might be getting near good enough ...
