Not been able to figure out the following formula.
I have random transaction numbers in column A rows 1 through 40.
In column A row 41 I want to enter a formula that adds the total number of transactions. In the case above it would be 40
Any help would be much appreciated.

If those transactions are true numbers... then =Count(A1:A40)
else =CountA(A1:A40)
