How to generate a blank from no data with IF

Howdy folks!

I have a formula that checks PASS or FAIL values that works great, but it renders a PASS if there is no data. Can anyone suggest how to make the cell remain blank if there is no data....I know I have seen an ISBLANK combo somewhere, I just cant figure out how to get it to work.

Here is the current formula:

=IF((COUNTIF(AK3:AV3,"FAIL")),"FAIL","PASS")
