Please help. I want to convert text into value.

This is what I have

123,458. How do I convert this number in text with comma into value?

Did you try formatting as number

You could also try Text to Columns and at wizard 3 make sure it's set to general

I tried convert text to value. But the result is not what I am looking for. What I need is to convert text of 123,456 into value of 123456. HOw to accomplish it?

Select column > Ctrl + H > in find enter , > and replace enter .

or look at tools > options > International tab > decimal seperator
