    Calculating time differences

I'm new to the forum and was hoping that someone can lend some insight. I've got data (listed in military time) and I need to determine the difference between the start and stop times. Does anyone know how to do this?

The following is a sample of the data:

    Start Stop
    10/13/07 12:22 AM 10/16/07 01:00 AM

Anyone know of a formula that calculates this?

=(B1-A1)*24 will give you number of hours difference, where A1 is start and B1 is stop.
Where there is a will there are many ways.

Multiply by 86400 instead of 24.

    where 86400 = 24 hrs/day * 60 min/hr * 60 sec/min
