Enter Tick Mark

    Enter Tick Mark

I have a list of names in Column A, rows 2-50.
We meet weekly so, column B, represents the 1st week of the year, Column C being the 2nd week, etc for 52 columns.
I'd like a formula that by pressing the "enter" key, can leave a "check" mark in each appropriate cell to show the individual whose name is on that same row in column A is present for that mtg.
Example: (A-7) is John Doe. By hitting the enter key on (B-7) a check mark will appear to show John Doe was present that week.
    Thank you for your help.

    Thank you very much.
I did the macro thing and it's doing what I wanted, however it is a little hard to control. It will leave a check mark just by scrolling with the arrow key. One needs to be VERY careful or mistakes will be made on checking attendance. It would be nice if I could have this so that only the "enter" key would provide the service.
    Thanks much.
