Smile A temporary fix for 'Cannot Empty the Clipboard' Error

A Temporary Solution to the ‘Cannot Empty Clipboard’ error in Microsoft Excel

First you will need to check if clipbrd.exe is running, to do this simply go to Start>Run>Then in the run window type clipbrd.exe. If this brings up the error message saying that the Clip Board is disabled then you are going to need to enable it.

To do this you must be logged in as an Administrator, once you are go to:

    Start>Control Panel>Administrator Services

Find the Clipboard in the list of services and enable it.

Finally the clipboard needs to be cleared, to do this, do the following:

Start>Run>Then in the run window type clipbrd.exe.

Delete everything in the clipboard and this should solve the problem until the clipboard becomes full again.

This should save time closing and reopening Excel. Hope this helped a few people.
