    cell contents in footer

    Hi,

Is it possible to get the contents of a cell to appear in a footer?

If so, what do I enter into the custom footer box if I want, say, the contents of cell B1 on sheet1 to appear in the footer of pages printed from Sheet2?

    I am using Excel 2003.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello David,

You have 3 different header and footer postions:Left, Center, and Right. Change the code below to the one you want to use.

    Thanks,

Umm, is there a non-VBA way to do it?

Not really. My add-in, available via the link below has a utility that can do this for you. Once installed go to Ultimate > Print > Print Utilities, and make the necessary selections. Note that this will not dynamically change if the contents of a cell change - you would need to run the utility again.

Other than that, it's back to VBA I'm afraid ...
