I have a serie of numbers in a dynamic name range, so I need to know if the last one on top is greater than the 1st one in bottom, if yes how much.

Hi,
The cell at the top of the dynamic range can be returned with
=INDEX(range,1,1)
The cell at the bottom of the dynamic range can be returned with
=INDEX(range,COUNT(range),1)
so the difference between them is given by
=INDEX(range,1,1)-INDEX(range,range(dave),1)
Rule 1: Never merge cells
