SQUAD 23 choose the best 11 players

    Can somebody help me ?!

I need a spreadsheet that can do this.
I have a football squad with 23 players
    3 GoalKeeper (GR)
    4 Full-back (FB)
    4 Centre-back (CB)
    3 Centre midfielder (CM)
    3 Side midfielder (SM)
    2 Attacking midfielder (AT
    4 Forward (F)
that every week gain points resulting of there performance.

I would like to have a formula that would allow me to choose every week the best 11 team respectin this criteria:
    - the team to be valid have always to have:
    - 1 GoalKeeper and 1 Attacking Midfielder

    - But then there is 5 possibilities to the other nine players:

    a) 1 FB; 2 DC, 2MC, 2SM, 2F
    b) 2 FB; 1 DC, 2MC, 2SM, 2F
    c) 2FB; 2DC; 1MC, 2SM, 2F
    d) 2FB, 2DC, 2MC, 1SM, 2 F
    e) 2FB, 2DC, 2MC, 2SM, 1 F
I will send a Excel spreadsheet with a example.

Tjakns in advance. (sorry my English)

I have redefined your definition of the best team to make it easier to find (gives the same result):
The first 7 player are the best player of each group:
    GoalKeeper (GR)
    Full-back (FB)
    Centre-back (CB)
    Centre midfielder (CM)
    Side midfielder (SM)
    Attacking midfielder (AT)
    Forward (F)

The next 4 players are the 4 best of the players that are second best in their repective group out of these group:
    Full-back (FB)
    Centre-back (CB)
    Centre midfielder (CM)
    Side midfielder (SM)
    Forward (F)

To make this visualy better to understand i have moved Goal Keeer and Attacking midfield to the top

There are possibilities that some players have the same number of points. To be able to rank them i have inserted an index column that defines who is your first choice if they have the same number of points. This are unique integers from 1 to 23. You can change the order of these if you like.

The yellow fields shows the initial unique formulas entered. The other cells are just copies of these.

Let me know if you need some more explanation, or if I have misundestood something.

    Squad 23

    First of all ... thanks.
It's works fine. The only problem is that i would like to have in front of the name of the player the points that he had to obtain the total of points. Is that possible ?
    Many thanks once again.

You can do this with VLOOKUP. See attachment

Glad it works fine for you so far.
