consolidate multiple workbooks

I have multiple workbooks each labelled with its desk No ie fx5423,ord2345 etc i want to insert column A and isert the workbook name all the way down till the data stops . It also needs to save the file.


the 2nd task is to consolidate consolidate all the workbooks into 1.
I have used datapig to break the files down but i need to put them back together again.
