Auto-Number tickets:Can this even be done?

Hello all, I am trying to create coupons for work, roughly three per page, and they asked me if I could individually number them to help keep track of them. But I don't know how I would go about doing that without having to change the number each time I go to print them. I plan to print around 150 coupons with three per page so roughly 50 pages. I guess I should also ask if Excel is even the best program for this, and if not, what other ones should I use...Any help would be much appreciated.

    Welcome to the forum.

I've changed the thread title to include a term that would meaningful to a search.

Searching on "numbering" lead to this link http://www.mcgimpsey.com/excel/udfs/sequentialnums.html

The simplest way would be to create your ticket add your start number where you want, highlight the whole ticket along with one row extra and then copy down using the drag handle!...and hey presto the numbers will automatically increase!
