Tools Menu Bar

Hi everybody,

I accidentally clicked my Tools Menu off the Menu Bar. Can someone please explain how I can get it back up? I am using Excel 2003.

I'd also be really grateful if someone could explain how I clicked it off in the first place.

Hi daryl,

To reset your menu bar, do the following:

1. Right-click on any worksheet tab and select 'View Code'
2. In the code window, paste the code shown below:

3. Press F5 and run the 'unhideMenuBar' macro.

Your menu bar should be back to default, including your Tools menu. One way of deleting the Tools menu item would be to right-click on the menu bar and click Customize, then right-click on Tools and click Delete. You may have done something different, but this should get it back for you.
