Linking two sheets and cells

I am not an expert and am wondering if someone can help me figure this out. I have a dorm roster, and I have created a generic room inspection sheets. I don't want to input the names in the room inspection sheets. Basically, when I input the names into the roster, it will automatically be put into the inspection sheets. In addition, I would like to have a button to print 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floor rooom inspections. thank you for any help.
