drop down lists prevent workbook sharing

I have created a workbook that I want to allow people to edit simultaneously. to my frustration, I have not been able to share it as the share option is greyed out.

I recreated the workbook an found that it was the drop down lists that cause this to happen. is there any way around this?

If you upload an example of your workbook as a zipped file, we might be able to figure out what it is.
