Question Regression - understanding R, Rsquared, Anova

Can someone explain the basics of what a regression output shows?

I am testing some data with 5 columns.

Column 1 - the Y column has chess ranking scores
Column 2-5 the X columns has individual points totals for certain criteria.

I'm using this to try and determine if high scores in the 2-6 columns is a way of predicting overall rank.

Running a regression report on this produces numbers but how do I know if the numbers are good or not? I've read some regression websites but none seem to say if a figure is good or not!

What is this telling me? Does the R Square indicate that the figures are good at predicting ranking? What does the 3.54 standard error mean?

What are SS,MS, F and significance F and again, does this indicate something useful or not?

Does this show if using the individual Score1-5 is a useful way of predicting overall rank?

I know what the coefficients are but what is standard error, t-stat, p value and the 95%'s telling me?

Are there any useful guides for using excel for basic regression stats?
