Trendline - Forecast Option

Hey Guys,

in "format trendline" option, we can forecast "X" period forward.
However excel doesn't show the forecasted points on the scatter diagram, all it does is, extend the trendline, making it very hard to actually record the future forecasts.

I was wondering if there is any other way around it? maybe an option to actually show the "future points" along the trendline?

You can use the LINEST function to extrapolate points that will fall exactly on the trendline.
