Question 1:
I've got two workbooks, WB1 is about 5000 records, WB2 has 18,000 records. WB1 has more information and is what we have to return to the client. WB2 has better product descriptions. I need to merge the product descriptions from WB2 into WB1 so we know what we are quoting. Both spreadsheets have a column of information in common, NPM codes. How do I merge the information from WB2 to WB1 using the NPM code as the matching point? I've attached a sample with how I'd need the results to look.
Question 2:
Before I can distribute the spreadsheet to customer service, I need to add certain protections and restrictions. One is to only allow text in the manufacturer's column. I've tried data validation, but I could not find where it would restrict input to text only the way you can restrict it to numbers only. Any suggestions??
