Odd Problem Using Time Date Function

My boss is using the Now() function to produce a unique number for our form. It has the date/time/seconds in the number. The problem is the number keeps changing as we type on the form.
She won't use a macro and doesn't want us to have to cut and paste the number.

So, is there a formula that we could use that would use the Now() function just once when we load the form and then not change? All I got were circular references when I tried. Any ideas?

    Unfortunately not.

NOW() is a dynamic formula which will update.

Only way around it would be to either copy and paste special value or to use a mmacro to timestamp the selected cell.
