Hi 2 all,
- Is there a way to limit character entry on a group of cells or the whole worksheet? For example, I want to limit only 10 characters for any cell when users types in or paste something in it.
- How do I lock a font or format on a worksheet so that user cannot change it?
Any ideas would be much appreciated - thanks.
OK I got it for #1. I used DATA | VALIDATION.
For # 2,
You will have to protect the sheet.
But you will have to lock/unlock cells in the sheet first depending on if you want to be able to overwrite some of the cells or not.
