adding data for time interval

Hi,

I need some help here, hopefully someone has some kinda answer!! :D

With reference to the attached file..

I'd like the user to key in the date, select the kind of day (N for normal, E for last week of the month because I am going to do some kinda sales forecasting and the sales in the last week of the month is always about 20% lower than other weeks) and the time in time out.

Then, when they press the submit button, the entry will go into the next sheet "Transactions". I'd like to insert a no. "1" into the time range they have entered in "Time In" and "Time Out" because I want to cumulatively summarize the hourly data for each type of day in a month (like how many customers there are between 2200 and 2300 on normal Mondays).

I don't think I'd have a problem doing the macro to transfer the data from the first sheet to the 2nd sheet, however I do not have a clue how to add a no. 1 in each cell between the time in and time out for each entry.
