Sounds like you have freeze panes on. If you're in 2007, go to the View tab, then you'll see a Freeze Panes button. Clicking it will show a dropdown menu, one option of which would be Unfreeze Panes.

    Thats not it.

I have removed all sorts, filters and unfroze all panes. I also restarted my computer nothing worked. Like I said the cursor moves through all the fieldds but the screen does not. Thanks for the quick response though.

I'm too late to help with your meeting.....but I had the exact same problem as you've described. In my case, it was a combination of hidden rows and "freeze panes". I created my problem by "freezing panes" when I had adjacent rows hidden. Then whenever I unhid my rows, they were included in the "frozen" rows thus appearing to be locked. To fix my problem, I "unfroze" the panes and then moved the "split" back to the top of the screen. Then my screen would scroll with the cursor movement. Hope this helps.
