Stop Excel from Scrolling to bottom of list

Is there a way to stop Excel from scrolling to the bottom of my list when I accidentally double click on a cell border?

    Thank you,

    Paul

How would Excel distinguish 'accidentally' from 'on purpose?'

    Hi,

If you don't use Cell Drag and Drop, then you can turn it off.
Go to Tools > Options > Edit (tab) and uncheck the box for "Enable fill handle and cell drag and drop", that will stop it.
