    cannot insert column due to non blank cell

    hi,

    i am trying to insert a column but i get an error message saying cannot remove non blank cell of the worksheet , i have done ctrl end and it takes me to IV 755 but there is nothing in it

    As a quick fix, if you're last column of data is in column Z, select columns AA through IV and click Edit -> Delete.

    If that doesn't work, then perhaps there is an unseen object sitting in column IV somewhere..

    thanks but that has not worked it still takes me to the same cell in column iv

    Any chance you could post a copy of the worksheet? You can even remove all of your other data if necessary before posting, as it's most likely irrelevant.
