How do i calculate the number of calendar days between 2 different dates

I am working on some real estate sales data and i would like excel to calculate the number of days a property has been on the market.

    Example:

A house is listed for sale on 02/02/08 and sold 05/05/08.
Is it possible to have excel calculate the days for me? the formula i currently have uses 360 days and it ends up not being correct after i double check by counting the days manually. The formula looks like this: 360(a2,b2)

any help will be appreciated, thanks

Just subtract the 2 cells.... eg. =B2-A2 and format as General
