    Exclamation VLookup or Choose Function?

    Hi again

I'm familiar with both VLookup and Choose functionalities, however it seems this problem has overcome me and I'm left searching for the tissues. (I wonder if Mr. Moderator will come to my rescue again )

D23 has a Data Validation List of 3 values which are: [004] [005] and [006]
G7 is the length in millimeters

D23 is linked with H34:J34 for the three values.

H35, H36, H37, H38 have linked values from another sheet
I35, I36, I37, I38 have linked values from another sheet
J35, J36, J37, J38 have linked values from another sheet

Basically, how do I tell cell D24 to choose from the table based on the Length (G7)?

If the length is 4572 or less, then choose the value in H35/I35/J35
If the length is between 4573 and 7620, then choose the value in H36/I36/J36
If the length is between 7621 and 10668, then choose the value in H37/I37/J37
If the length is 10669 or more, then choose the value in H38/I38/J38

Attached is a screenshot for those who are confused, like me, LOL

We don't really accept payment...we are just doing this for "fun" and to help out as much people like yourself, who appreciate the assistance and knowledge we have.

If you really want to "donate" something, you can possibly by a book... Check out the "Books" tab at the top of the web page. We, the users or moderators, do not benefit monetarily though.

I think saying "Thank You" is enough payment, personally.

No problem. I bow down to your superior excel knowledge. I understand completely where you're coming from as I give technical assistance to an old game that's no longer supported online (Settlers III) I don't ask for money in return, just a Thank You will suffice.

However, unfortunately for me I'm re-writing the whole costing system for the company I work for. (It uses Excel templates that are dragged into a Centura Database), so you can imagine the mammoth task ahead of me - Already been at it two weeks

Anyway, I'd just like to say Thank You, and no doubt I will be back in the near future. I may also stick around to answer a few posts

    Thanks again, much appreciated.
