    Delete 3 items upon match?

Is there any way to delete 3 items in the same row (i.e. E9, F9, G9) if part of the contents in E8 match the same contents in E9? Otherwise, do nothing (just leave it untouched).

    Here is an example:

    [E8] [F8] [G8]
Security 1 - Blah Blah - Blah Blah Blah Blah
    [E9] [F9] [G9]
Security 1 - La La - La La La La
Since the wording before the hyphen (Security 1 = Security 1, in other words... part of E8 = part of E9), then E9, F9, and G9 would be deleted. If for instance E9 = Security 2 - La La - La La (instead of Security 1), E9, F9, and G9 would remain untouched. My excel spreadsheet looks exactly like this (there are hypens seperating cell contents in the E column).

I hope you understand what I mean, because it's a bit hard to explain. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for the help in advance!
