    Aligning Check Boxes

    Hi,

I need to create a lot of Check boxes and ensure they are all the same size and all aligned. Is there an easy way to do this? At the moment I am creating each box and manually aligning it.

This site has a neat code to create check boxes, select a range of cells. then run the macro and checkboxes will be created in the selected range,

    Good afternoon pauldaddyadams

Create a checkbox, and set it to the size you want. Now copy it, by left clicking and dragging and then press and hold Ctrl till you let go. This will create and identical checkbox.

To align them up, hold down Alt while you move them, this will "snap" the border of the checkbox to the nearest cell border, making them easy to line up. This also works to resize them to the size of a cell.

Finally, once you have a checkbox selected, you can use the arrow keys for fine tuned miniscule movements.

Thanks for all the help and the quick responses.

With this help I have now managed to achieve what I set out to do.

The post from davesexcel was very good – this will prove very valuable!! I just used the code and it worked a treat.
