travel time distance formula

Need formula which will allow for a choice to be made and based on those choices it will provide information adjacent to the information….ie

I have data of travel distance between locations. I need excel to allow me to choose one local and another and it retrieve the distance that has been input in.

Ex…….I choose local one to local 3 then to local

Cell one Cell two Cell 3 Cell 4
Local one to local two……25 miles…..20 minutes
Local one to local three…….45 miles….34 minutes
Local one to local four……..10 miles…..15 minutes
Local one to local five…….56 miles……45 minutes
Local two to local one…….25 miles……20 minutes……the same as above
Local two to local three……15 miles……20 minutes
Local two to local four…….67 miles……75 minutes
Local two to local five…….15 miles……22 minutes
Local two to local six……..2 miles…….5 minutes

I would like to have excel allow for me to enter local one to local four and it give me the data of 10 miles 15 minutes…..then allow for me to add another local, (local two to local four…which is 67 miles and 75 minutes)….at which time it would give me the total distance and travel time……77 miles 90 minutes.

See just having it add is not what I need…the routes are not predetermined….they are random, which is why I need the formula to allow for me to “drill down”. The route is dictated to me after it has been run. I have to manually figure out the distance and time. If this can be done it will save me hours daily.
